You should have fresh fruit everyday!
Apples & Bananas are the easiest to have on hand without going bad. If I'm doing a fruit salad, I do my best to eat the fruit I buy within 2 days of purchase. No one likes pulling out moldy fruit, yuck.
Fruit salads are SUPER EASY. And you can use whatever fruit you want/what's in season.
In the summer, I use a watermelon base a lot of the time. It's so good paired with all sorts of other fruits. For this salad, I started with watermelon, then added kiwi, chopped red onion, goat cheese and drizzled balsamic on top! YUM.
Mix and match whatever fruits, cheese, veggies you have on hand - so many awesome combinations. Another fav is apple, mandarin oranges, slivered almonds, white cheddar and/or bleu cheese. Enjoy :)
This week I tried Aerial Yoga at StudioVIBE in Cary. Wow, it is really cool! Such a fun way to stretch, strengthen and flip around. Owner, Patty Geiger, gave the best analogy -- it feels like you're swimming in the water without having to hold your breath!
