Summer Solstice, Sangria & Sales

Summer is a time for crop tops, denim shorts, beach days, sexy tans, and drinking your heart out! That can only mean one thing... it’s time for our Annual SUMMER SOLSTICE Soiree on June 20th from 11am-6pm!! 

We're concocting our famous Peachy Keen Sangria, munching on some yummy hor d’oeuvres & hosting some amazing vendors to help kickstart Summer, the peachy way! AND YOU’RE INVITED!

Summer is full of bright colors and fun parties! So make sure you have your carolyn leona linens! This fabulous line of party napkins & towels are created by Liz Goldberg. After attending school for textiles and interior design she took the names of her two beloved grandmothers and hostesses and voila, carolyn leona was born! The line consists of hand towels, napkins, cocktail napkins and aprons, all made in adorable prints! Did I mention these linens are all made with 100% cotton and washable?!

There will be a great selection of carolyn leona linens at our Summer Solstice Soiree. The perfect opportunity to pick up that gift you've been looking for!

The Mighty River Project will be in the store with beautiful handcrafted baskets, textiles, and beads. TMRP buys these amazing goods from 8 different artisans in Uganda, which helps to provide medical care & emergency assistance for their families. How cool is that?! Purchasing any of the baskets, beads, or bags helps keep the children of Uganda out of institutional care and with their loving families!

If you didn’t already know, Father’s Day is June 21st, and we're looking out for our peaches! Don't worry if you're a procrastinator on buying him a gift! Stop by and pick up some yummy award winning Jim’s Own Sauce for Daddy! Jim himself started making finger licking good barbecue sauce from his mom’s recipe in the 1990’s. People went crazy over the stuff and Jim decided to take on the challenge and started the business full time in 1997. Now Jim is proud to call his own sauce one of the top 13 barbecue sauces in the South named by Southern Living!

Jim’s Own Sauce is locally made right here in Cary and it’s gluten free and so delicious! Here’s a little taste of the sauces we’ll be serving up at our Solstice Soiree, complete with free samples:

Another Summer favorite is crunchy, salty peanuts! There's no better peanut then The Peanut Roaster! They have been serving yummy roasted nuts since 1949 when Larry Monahan Sr. started selling them within his family store in Virginia. In 1985 the Cary factory was built and is still making amazing peanuts from the original 1949 recipe!

I definitely know this Summer Solstice is going to a good one! Not only will there be yummy food, fun giftables, fabulous friends, sexy summer clothes, and delicious sangria, we’re also decorating the store with peachy or should I say beachy visuals! Peachy Keen is going to be a sunny getaway, complete with a DIY umbrella wreath, flower crowns, and fun summer flowers! Don’t worry you can capture the day with our “polaroid” photo booth!
