MINKPINK came to life in Sydney, Australia in 2005, after Rachel realized there was a massive hole in the Australian clothing market. The style conscious “sheila” who wanted to wear quality, well-made, and trendy pieces for a decent price, was coming up empty handed. Rachel saw this and thus MINKPINK was born! It only took MINKPINK five years to become one of the top three youth brands in Australia and the company hasn’t stopped growing since. It is now being sold all across the globe in the UK, Japan, Germany, Hong Kong, Sweden, Holland, Canada, the United States, and Australia.
The brand's eighth anniversary is just around the corner and through all of the success they haven’t strayed from their original purpose. In the words of MINKPINK, they have stayed true to themselves by, “designing inspirational, original pieces season upon season that our girls can afford to buy and LOVE to wear.” We totally agree and think this brand is oh-so-peachy!
The MINKPINK design team consists of 6 passionate designers who bounce ideas off of one another in their “creative chaos” environment. Just like us, the design team is a family, and the peachy staff loves to support brands that values lineage as much as we do! During their collaborative design meetings, the vocal designers throw out their ideas and come up with a multitude of emerging trend pieces are sure to catch the peachy eye and leave us wanting more. Their Pinterest is full of 90’s icons, including Drew Barrymore, Winona Ryder, Clueless, and Empire Records. From this, the designers draw a lot of their inspiration. You will always find “grunge era” inspired pieces in every collection.
Celebrities Jennifer Lopez, Vanessa Hudgens, Kristin Cavallari, and Olivia Munn also adore MINKPINK and have been seen rocking these styles all over LA.
